Poseidon Education's NGSS-aligned programs guide students to design effective water quality solutions in their school communities, connect students with future career paths, and help water agencies meet their regulatory goals. |
INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS
Poseidon Education trains students to collect data, analyze results, develop solutions and present their work with purpose. We partner with local water authorities, engineering organizations and municipalities to fund hands-on real-world programs. Poseidon Education trains and certifies the classroom teacher to lead students in 5th-12th to develop industry technical skills and discover future career opportunities as water quality leaders.

Stormwater Quality
Leadership™ Program Students follow the path pollutants take from our neighborhoods through the storm drain system to our waterways. After collecting, testing, and analyzing runoff samples, students design mitigation strategies and present their recommendations to school and city officials. |
Water Resources
Leadership™ Program Students discover the complex hidden infrastructure that reliably delivers clean water to our tap. They audit potable water use on campus, calculate reclaimed water savings, follow the path of wastewater to the treatment plant and design water use reduction strategies for their school site. |
EDUCATIONAL UNITS
Stormwater Capture
Short Program Students use research tools to explore capture systems around their school site. With these findings, students then design their own strategies and models for stormwater capture and reuse. |
Trash & Litter
Short Program Students collect data about litter and trash on school grounds, then develop strategies to encourage behavioral change, including a school-wide campaign and final report. |
"This program directly connects the community to their water agency and helps them understand the value of the services the agencies provide." - Tiffany Boyd-Hodgson,
